The RiDoc software version 6.0 is in the final testing stage. You can install the RiDoc program and use the program under the license agreement.

The registration keys purchased for version 5.0 are suitable for version 6.0. OOO Kompanya Riman, which is the developer and copyright holder of the RiDoc program, extends the right to use the non-exclusive license purchased by users for RiDoc version 5.xx to version 6.xx.

[1] The RiDoc version 6. xx program is a continuation of the development of a single platform, which made it possible to create a cross-platform solution (based on a single development stack):

• the RiDoc 6.0 program is an application for 64-bit and 32-bit versions of Windows.
• the RiDocLNX program (https://ridoclnx.com ) is a Linux application.

[2] RiDoc version 6. xx temporarily does not contain the following functions,
which are available in version 5.xx:

• "Quick" and "Node folders"
• "Print"
• "Send by mail"

[3] In RiDoc version 6. xx, the following has been changed (added):

• window interface for saving program results saving to MS Word is done in RTF format .
• The "PDF-OCR" function has been added, which immediately performs the "Edit" operation and creates a PDF file with scanned copies of documents in which you can search and select the contents (source image with searchable text).

By default, RiDoc version 6.0 is installed in the following directories:

• C:\Program Files\Riman\RiDoc6 – for 64-bit
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Riman\RiDoc6 – for 32-bit

• C:\ProgramData\RiDoc\INI\ - the RiDoc current settings folder (write and read access must be open).
• C:\ProgramData\RiDoc\LANG\ - the folder with the RiDoc localization files: (write and read access must be open).
• C:\ProgramData\RiDoc\TESSDATA\ -a folder with library files for Tesseract OCR - this is where you may need to copy additional libraries of the required languages for recognition (download from here: tesseract-ocr). By default, this folder already contains libraries for speech recognition in English.

C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Application Data\RiDoc\ - RiDoc work folders (write and read access must be open).

We recommend installing the 64-bit version of RiDoc.

Yes, you can use it. The programs are installed in different folders. The settings files are also located in different folders. There are no restrictions.
The only thing you will have to do is recreate the desktop shortcut for the RiDoc version 5.xx program (taking into account that the path to the RiDoc version 5.xx program is as follows: c:\Program Files (x86)\Riman\RiDoc\ridoc.exe).

In the letter, specify the version number of the RiDoc program and describe the essence of the problem (for example: I press the button, the result is such and such). Attach a screenshot of the program (errors).

Version 6.xx is a further development of the RiDoc program.
RiDoc version 5.xx will still be supported for some time. As soon as the full and stable 32 and 64 bit versions 6.xx of the RiDoc program are released, the 5.x version of the RiDoc program will be discontinued.
